Which CAS DL scales we repair
CAS DL floor scales are used in shops, warehouses, workshops and goods-in. Platform 370×500 mm, mains adapter or six C (R14) batteries, RS-232, tare, counting and checkweighing. Rated temperature −10…+40 °C.

Indicator error codes
On CAS DL the message is short: Err, Init, OFL, UNStA, BAT. Err has no number. Some clear on site — empty platform, level floor, live batteries. If the code stays, it is the load cell, the analogue path or a lost calibration.
UNStA (some heads show UNSTA) means the reading will not settle. Check the floor, draughts, and whether the platform cover rubs the frame or debris sits under the cover. If the code stays on an empty level platform, we check the load cell, the pole cable, the analogue board and the stop bolts.

Without a code: weight looks right up to 40–60 kg and then jumps by kilograms — usually a stop bolt under the platform or a tired load cell. A segment stays lit, or the 1111…9999 test ends in Err — we check the indicator and the main board, not only the buttons.

The load cell is not in this list: it is matched to capacity and bridge resistance after measurement. The pole cable is checked for an open circuit before boards are replaced.
Calibration
We calibrate after a load cell, analogue or main board change, after overload, and when the scale is consistently wrong with sound mechanics. Zero and span are set with a weight close to capacity: up to 60 kg for DL-60, 100 kg for DL-100, 150 kg for DL-150, 200 kg for DL-200.
- Platform empty, scale level, stops not jammed.
- Zero first, then the reference load.
- Check at several points and at the corners: the reading must not depend on which corner the load sits on.
- On trade scales we verify after calibration. No need to send the scale to another organisation: we verify it ourselves.
The service entry for calibration is not published: on commercial scales the engineer does it, otherwise the tolerance is easy to lose.
Verification
If a CAS DL is used on the shop floor, at dispatch or in any account where the reading is used for payment, it needs verification. There is no need to send the scale elsewhere: we verify it ourselves, in the workshop and on site. After repair we:
- clear the fault and fit the part;
- calibrate to the model capacity;
- check repeatability and corners;
- verify the scale and issue the verification.
The verification period and the passport mark are on the certificate. An overdue scale is better kept out of trade until it is repaired and verified.
Visit, collection and delivery
Moscow and the Moscow region. Two options.
- Visit to the customer. The engineer checks the scale on site: level, platform, power, display code. Glass, buttons, adapter, socket and calibration are often closed on site. We bring the board and load cell if the fault is clear by phone.
- Collection and delivery. We collect the head or the whole scale, repair it in the workshop and bring it back. Better when the main board must be replaced, the socket soldered, or the shop floor is too busy to calibrate.
For a request we need the nameplate model (DL-60, DL-100, DL-150, DL-200 or DL-N), the display code and the address. Say whether the head has 4 or 6 buttons. A 4-button board is replaced. A 6-button scale is discontinued: we check whether the processor is alive.
Questions
How does DL differ from DL-N?
DL-N is the same floor series. For repair the button count and capacity matter more. The 4-button board is the current version and is replaced. Scales with a 6-button board are discontinued and not supplied. Glass is tied to the 60 / 100 / 150 model.
Do you repair 6-button scales?
Scales with a 6-button board are discontinued and no longer supplied. We do not fit a new board. Repair is only of the board itself, and only if the processor has not failed: processors are not available. A failed processor cannot be restored.
Do you verify the scales yourselves?
Yes. Calibration and verification are done by us, in the workshop and on site. There is no need to send the scale to another organisation.
The scale shows Err on an empty platform. Is that the batteries?
No. Err is the initial-zero fault, with no number. Batteries show BAT. Remove the load and check the cover. If it stays, bring the scale for calibration; often the load cell is the real cause.
Can you replace only the glass?
Yes, if the segments are alive. DL-60, DL-100 and DL-150 glass is in stock; links are in the table above.
